A month and a half to NaNoWriMo! I’m excited, I’m hyped, I’m ready – and then I changed my plans. Instead of writing the story I planned to write I’m going to work on a new project of mine. I don’t have a working title, but I do have an outline – nearly 2,000 words worth. That’s more then I had going into NaNo with Elderling’s Crown. This new story seems like it will be so much more fun then the story I was going to do. It may mean putting Fairy’s Book off another year, but then I think it needs another year.
The plot revolves around a Princess searching for her father, who has gone missing while on a quest, and a mysterious cursed land that seems to call to members of her bloodline.
I have more character-building to do then world-building, but I have plenty of time before nano to do it. Now I am off to look for names.
