I seem to have neglected my blog once again. It appears that every time the stress and activity level increase writing blog posts is one of the first things that gets dropped. But not video games, no… video games never get dropped. They are just too essential to my existence.

Which brings me to the point of this post – the Legend of Zelda : A Link to the Past. Or ALttP, as it is fondly referred to by fans. I spent most of the summer playing ALttP, when I wasn’t playing Final Fantasy XII, VII or Okami that is. It was hard, yet satisfying game. Hard because I had to re-learn how to play 2-D games, satisfying because… well, it was. When you log hours upon hours, just in the final dungeon, and lose far more then the 69 lives it recorded, when you finally beat the last boss you feel like you climbed that pyramid and pwned that oversized pig-monster yourself.

There isn’t much I can say about such an excellent game that has been out for so long. Only that I’m extremely happy that I finally beat it. A must-play for any Zelda fan, as thousands of reviews probably have already stated. ;)
Now, onto the next unfinished game in my collection. My goal is to have as few distractions this November as possible, and nothing is more distracting then a game singing ‘finish me!’ I’m thinking Final Fantasy XII, as it is the closest to completion.
