Yesterday the whole group went to the Japanese Gardens. Last time I was there was a few years ago, while it wasn’t that different many of the plants had grown. I took lots of pictures, naturally. Even some of my ever elusive family if it can be believed. The sun was out but it wasn’t too hot, and a lot more was in bloom so it was just lovely.
Today I went driving with my eldest cousin Natasha, just me and her. We went up to the university district. The University of Washington compas is beautiful. It looks like what I imagine Hogwarts to look like, only Hogwarts would be more castle-ish, with a huge courtyard and wonderfully detailed red brick buildings. The library was particularly impressive, but it was closed so I didn’t get to look around inside.
After that Natasha took me for bubble tea, something which I had never heard of before. It was actually really good and I wish I had a place to get it in Alaska. It reminds me of Orbitz of all things.
