It’s snowing. Weather reports say that this is only the beginning of the big storm that’s going to move in tonight. It snowed on Saturday and Wednesday as well, reapplying layers of fluffy white. Snow makes the whole world feel just a bit more peaceful and untroubled. It’ll be excellent for the Iditarod, which starts this weekend – better plenty of snow then none at all! Anything to delay spring as well – Spring in Alaska is not by any stretch of the imagination ‘nice’. Unless you like massive amounts of mud and stink.
Lately I’ve been working on some short stories. Sword and Sorceress will be openning for submissions soon and it’s always been a dream of mine to be published in that. I know I have a story for it in me somewhere, but so far I can’t seem to dig it out. PARSEC has rolled around again as well, so I’ve been working on that too. Naturally with having actual deadlines there are distractions aplenty – just today the Prince of Persia DLC was released, and as I expected it has eaten my brain. Ah well, at least it isn’t a full game. ;D
