October 4th already? I feel like October snuck up on me, my lovely September as fleeting as the golden leaves which are all but gone from the trees already. The air is turning frost-crisp and cold, and I’m counting down the days until it snows. It’s the season were I get to feel even more out of place then usual, because one of those rare people that really loves the weather at this time of year.
Last few weeks I’ve been busy with lots of Big Exciting Things. September 19th was my 22nd birthday, and it went by with minimum fanfare. My mom signed the family up for The Alaska Club, so I’ve been working out more and swimming whenever I’ve had the chance. I’m taking a karate class, which is something I’ve wanted to do for awhile, and I’m taking my aunt’s corgi puppy to puppy class. Then NaNoWriMo is coming up and I’m MLing again this year, so there is prep to be done. And on top of everything I recently got a cello, which I’m planning to teach myself to play.
I might not blog again until nearly November, or even after. I’m going to be taking some time to work out exactly what I’m doing with the site – a schedule, a plan. Topics, reviews, etc. Stuff that I should have done from the beginning. Time to get serious, as it were.
