The video game and comic book influences smoothed the wrinkles in the flow and I was more accepting of the awkward transitions. I got the feeling that the budget dictated directing at times. The CG was awesome but they couldn't make the whole movie of awesome. So, there were some rather bland scenes drawn out to make the movie theater length. There was brilliant orchestration of violence and evil. I found myself cheering for an assassin. What is honorable? I found it a very entertaining movie that dangled big themes like life's purpose to tempt you to take this seriously.
